I'm 70 with good hearing and think the sound it quite low at its highest level. The sound is really quite good if the DVD player is within 4-6 feet of the viewer though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi all,, That is Best Buy Brand Insignia,, nothing wrong with it. I have had all the best small DVD players, and I had to connect them ALL to external speakers for volume. Even external speakers you can't buy cheap,, you have to get one with lots of watts. All of my Ipads all have external speakers.. And for the most part they all have rumbling noises while playing some are quieter than others. I ate lunch in my car a lot at work for 16 years.. Yea I am some what the expert at this,, a movie in your hooked up to its speakers is dog heaven. I am thinking about buying this just because it has a 10 in screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The volume goes up to 20. At 20 in an otherwise silent room it is fine. But you also hear the dvd spinning inside the player. The dvd spins quite loudly inside. The volume is definitely not great. I cannot hear it at all in my vehicle when my son has this playing on 20 in the back seat.
