I bought this to use with my iPhone plus (I already had a phone holder that I could attach to the tripod). The only problem I had (not the item) was that my phone case is bulky and heavy and sometimes the tripod was not strong enough to carry it. But when I took off my case (which is a hassle, at times), the sturdiness wasn't an issue. Just keep in mind that this product is good for lighter cameras and phones.

If you have an action camera like a GoPro or a SJcam, this is the first item you should buy for it I use it as a handle tripod and it wraps around anything, I even used it for a dive video and was surprised to find out that it helped float my camera to the surface. With the legs together it works great as a handle I can walk around and point it anywhere with ease If you are shooting a video with your camera stationary the 3 bendable legs make it easy to set up your camera level on just about any surface . For the more difficult places simply wrap the legs around a pole.

I went to the store to buy a different Insignia tripod but saw that the feet on the other one were unstable, so I bought this one instead. At first I didn't think I'd like the flexible legs, as I thought they might be difficult to quickly move back to the middle for putting back into my bag, but the legs are actually very easy to move. I thought the flexibility might make them difficult to keep straight for simple use on a table, but nope, they aren't flexible enough to be difficult. Fits the standard sized holes at the bottoms of standard cameras and camcorders.

This is a cheap little tripod that I purchased to be used with a GoPro camera, and out of the box the leg system started to fall apart. This tripod is hold together by a little plate with a screw that had to be tightened a few times before being able to be used for it's purpose. My suggestion is to get another brand that might have a better built quality. This can work for some people, maybe if you don't keep re-adjusting the legs it can work for you, but if you're like me and would like to keep framing a tripod frequently, stay away.

I got this small tripod for my son to use with his go pro on his desk top. More or less as a starter one . Legs seemed fun and kid friendly . Until they broke . You cannot bend them too many times. Maybe a couple of times . Dollar store quality in my book. It wasn't expensive at Best Buy ... so it wasn't a huge deal when it failed . Overall unless u don't plan on bending the legs , I wouldn't purchase this product .

Got this tripod for my Sony DSC-W800 pocket camera. Its very stable and the flexible legs allow for anchoring and leveling on uneven surfaces. The leg(s) can also be anchored to small diameter poles, fences, etc. This tripod is great for small cameras. I would not recommend for heavier cameras such as an SLR but would work great with compact video recorders as well. I am happy with the product

My reviews are purely based on my experiences. This tripod is horrible for portable projectors. I bought it to support my Qumi Q6. Part of the problem is the projector and where you connect the tripod (off center). I could see how this would work well for a GoPro or similar. For me it does not. The ball and socket configuration keeps popping out so I have to get another tripod.

I needed a quick and inexpensive tripod when I forgot mine. It is okay. It does pop out of the socket when rotating the camera, as other reviewers mentioned. Although small, my point and shoot camera is a bit heavier, so maybe that is the issue. The legs were nicely adjustable. I'm on the fence about whether or not I'd recommend. I'd say give it a try if you have an super light weight camera.
