I love the flexibility of having a fully functional laptop yet also being able to convert to tablet mode. Product is portable, powerful and just what I was looking for.

Good 2/1 for the price. Good screen view. Battery life is inconsistent.

Ordered online and delivered within two days with free shipping option, laptop looks great, the only problem is once fan turns on after 2 minutes it remain on all the time even if you are not doing anything, you close the lid fan turns off but as soon as you just open the lid fan came back tried so many time, nothing is running but just opening the lid turns on fan is strange. From a full shutdown turns on with 5 seconds speed and display is great but once again fan always on is something not acceptable for me thinking to give it a try for couple of days if fan remain same returning this and getting Lenovo U430 with 8GB ram priced reasonably 699 on BB.

In all fairness, this is more of a review on Best Buy's refurbished Quality Assurance business practices than the product itself, which just arrived at my house today. The laptop was a replacement for my wife, as I couldn't justify the cost of a Mac AirBook but I had to find a "happy medium" on the form factor. So the package arrived today with much excitement from my wife, but right out of the box it was clear that there was no pre-existing charge in the laptop battery. No problem, we'll just plug it in and charge it up. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, as the proprietary male power supply plug was cracked and deformed. The description of the order said that a case was also included, however there was no such thing in the package. My wife called the local Best Buy store, where the representative said to just bring it in and a replacement power supply would be swapped. We arrived at Best Buy tonight to replace the power supply and reconcile the missing case issue. Unfortunately, we were told that no replacement would be provided as none were available, and I never received any satisfactory response on the missing case - actually, I didn't receive any explanation on this at all. Ultimately, I'm sure this is a great laptop and well worth the discounted price if there was any semblance of Quality Control in testing the refurbished products before they are repackaged, or double-checking that the order is complete before shipment.. Additionally, it would have been nice if the Best Buy staff had ensured that everyone in the retail store was on the same page before instructing customers to "come on out" and get a satisfactory replacement for any defective products. Ultimately, this little trip ended up being 2+ hours of my life that I'll never get back, not to mention the irritation of waiting for refund credits to post.

About two weeks after I received the computer, the screen began losing resolution. Then it eventually lost all functionality with bright bars up and down the screen. It seemed to be due to over heating, but I could never pin point the problem.

The i5 processor, touch screen, laptop and tablet feature... for only $630? Absolutely a great deal. I read an earlier review stating that the fab is loud, but mine is actually silent!
