Great tv!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv is rather heavy for a flat screen but the picture quality the sound and overall the price was way to hard to pass this up. I use it mainly for gaming it goes above and beyond for that!

THE BEST TV I HAVE EVER OWNED!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OUTSTANDING!!! For the price and features THE BEST 8K set you'll get. The picture is the sharpest and most crisp of ANY TV I've ever owned. The colors THE DEEPEST and most rich and vibrant my eyes have ever seen. Indescribable! When watching a movie, I spend as much time ogling the clarity, color depth, and sharpness of the image! The 33 Million pixels is 2x the resolution and 4X the pixel density of 4K. I've been experimenting with the settings since getting it February 28 '22. I love the "Vivid" picture setting best. I run sound right from ARC HDMI to my Onkyo TX-NR686 receiver (which I love also) which decodes anything to my 5.2.2 set-up (DD Atmos or DTS Neural:X). From what I did hear before receiver was connected, the TV speakers sounded good but for an 8K TV you definitely have to have a surround sound set-up to match. This shipped safely and securely and delivery guys were on-time and courteous. Set-up was a breeze. Had to agree to all the privacy policies in the OS during the initial set-up which seemed intrusive but hey I already own a cellphone - what's more privacy intrusive than that? The Smart WebOS features have EVEYRTHING I could want: Sling, PLEX, HBO Max, YouTube, Netflix, etc., etc. so I no longer need to use my Amazon Firestick 4K Max. There's also a LG live channel but haven't used. I read there were many free channels available with that. TV has Wifi6 which works great with my Netgear Nighthawk AX5700 router. ZERO lag in streaming 4k movies with the Gen4 a9 Processor. FHD (1080P) movies look great but 4K movies upscaled to 8K is where this truly shines. I've watched some of my 4K movies again these last 2 weeks and it's watching a new movie! Matrix Resurrections, Croods 2, Ghost in The Shell, Star Wars Rise of Skywalker, Avengers Infinity War, and Spiderman No Way Home 4K - ALL look magnificent! Have yet to connect my my X1X, but my X1S (used as 4K disc player) looks great! With all the TV year end sales the last month, I also purchased the LG 48" A1 OLED. Loved it so much so I bought this 8K. The LG A1 OLED 4K is much much thinner but this 65" 8K is thin as well. I've had my eye on an 8K 65" TV since 2020. I missed out on the 2020 LG 65" 8K that Best Buy had on sale last year and passed on the 2020 Samsung QN800A for a 2021 model. Worked out better ultimately as this 2021 is a beauty! Nearly half-off price on sale end of February 2022 at Best Buy so I jumped on it. Of course Best Buy had the "best buy" on this model. There's not much 8K content (YET) except for YouTube but 4K upscaled to 8K is very very impressive! Your eyes won't believe what you're seeing.

The television you want in the 21st century
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't write a lot of reviews, but this television is delightful. Got it open box, full disclosure, open box can mean, as it did in my case, no box at all, and also no remote control--getting a remote mailed is child's play thankfully and you can use the phone app until it gets here. This is such a lovely piece of technology. For gaming it's going to make you cry, for sports, it's going to give you that ooey-gooey happy feeling. I'm enjoying playing around with the settings, but there's AI for the people who want to set it and forget it. The menus are straightforward and I've been able to find everything I'm looking for without a lot of fuss. I really do like the option of being able to connect up my LG appliances--haven't done it yet, but IoT is real and it's something I intend to do. No regrets, I'm thrilled to have gone to 8K and I'm enjoying this lovely more than I'd even expected. It's nice when reality outpaces high expectations.

LG tv
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have owned this tv for 6 months and we have had no problems with it at all. The picture quality and color are excellent. I like the magic remote although shaking it to turn it on is a bit cumbersome. It is way better than the old remote.

Really impressed with upscaling
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will start out with i was skeptical about buying an 8k TV mostly because there is hardly any native 8K content available. I was looking for a TV to replace one that died on me and found this unit on sale at a price i couldnt pass up. I will say I have been really impressed with the AI upscaling. I have a newer QLED 4K TV in another room and I think this TV has a better picture hands down. That being said I would not choose to buy another 8K TV unless it was the same price or cheaper than a QLED 4K TV as was the case for me.
