Metra - Installation Kit for Select GM Vehicles - Black

First time installing an aftermarket radio.Thanks to Best Buy's online tool for determining if this was fit for my car.Now that the radio was installed, I absolutely love the look.i went from a double din factory radio to a single din.In the package are multiple faces where you can have storage underneath (for the single dins only), or you can customize to your own liking using their other faces they include.I used the face with storage underneath and I really love how convenient it is.I am able to place my wallet and phone without having to take up my cup holders.An added plus is the storage is located right beneath my aftermarket radio that has an aux port.So I can listen to music off my phone and just stick the phone into the storage beneath AND I don't have I worry about buying a long aux cord as well.Nothing but pros for this product and no cons whatsoever!!! A+!!!

Worked in a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero. There were tabs that I had to break off to make it fit, as the kit is somewhat generic. Kit also has extra stuff if I ever want to go with a double DIN unit (this is reason alone to buy this kit, if applicable). I only went single DIN because I already had the head unit and wanted to use the pocket to mount a voltmeter and store the microphone and it's cable. Note that this kit only comes with the plastic mounting parts, and some screws. I did not use most of the parts or the screws. You will still need to buy adapters for the electrical connections separately.

a very good installation kit for gm vehicles when installing a new head unit. makes installing the unit easy and gives a almost factory look when finished.

This too was a necessary piece after my wife stereo was stolen they destroyed the old one it's one of those pieces you do need for any kind of aftermarket stereo installment. Comes with a little extra tray below it which really doesn't hold much besides a wallet maybe some cards but make sure your hand fits in the slot and don't forget what's in there it could be lost and forgotten very simple and easy installation

This is a great kit for many vehicles, if it lists your vehicle on the back then it will fit. This kit is also great for custom installations also as it allows a single DIN into a single DIN spot, Single DIN into a double DIN spot, and double DIN into a double DIN spot. There are also many strong mounting hole locations.

Had to modify at installationbut worked perfectly after. Beautiful install. Easy and looks clean. Alot of holes on the side to match pretty much any radio style.
