Motion-detection camera
Features a full-color CMOS image sensor with a 3.56mm lens (f/2.8) that produces clear video with up to 1600 x 1200 resolution at 1 fps. Expandable up to 15 cameras (requires VueZone service plan, not included).
120° field of view
Along with pan capability lets you observe a wide area. Up to 4x zoom allows you to see distant subjects up close.
Motion sensor
Starts recording automatically when it detects movement from a 130-lb. minimum subject from up to 15' away for reliable monitoring. Adjustable sensitivity provides simple customization.
FrameMesh wireless video encryption
Helps keep your video feed private. Invite others to remotely view your cameras via a secure user log-in.
Selectable recording resolutions
Include UXGA (1600 x 1200 pixels at 1 fps), VGA (640 x 480 pixels at 4 fps) and QVGA (320 x 240 pixels at 8 fps) in FLV (Flash Live Video) format.
Snapshot mode
Allows you to capture still images in UXGA (1600 x 1200 pixels), VGA (640 x 480 pixels) or QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution in JPEG format.
Recording schedule options
Include time lapse or live (1 camera at a time) for versatility.
2 wall mounts
Make it easy to position the camera in desired locations.
Base station
Features a Fast Ethernet port for connection to your router or cable/DSL modem via the included 3' Ethernet cable (requires a high-speed Internet connection and router, not included). Indicator LEDs provide at-a-glance information.

Great camera for a great price.

I looked on the internet and saw a variety of cameras available, most of them needed a power source. The location I needed this camera did not have a power source nearby, thus having a battery operated camera was ideal. I purchased this camera with reservations, however the setup was easy and the picture quality was sufficient for my needs, not to mention the price was very reasonable.

All bells and whistles need a pricey subscription. I'm fine with basic. Add on cameras pricey. Get the kit you need - less expensive than retrofitting.

Good Starter Kit

I've tried a couple of other systems and this was much better. Cameras are completely wireless which is a major plus. App is easy to use and very convenient. No cost until you have 3+ cameras. Battery life is an issue. The camera battery life dropped down to two bars after less than 3 hours, but it has stayed at two bars for the last month. We are constantly checking the camera so I know we're accessing it more than usual. The second camera I purchased did not have this battery issue, still shows full battery so I am not as overly concerned about the battery life as I was when I read a previous review.

Easy security

In fact I let my 14 year old grandson install it while I was cooking dinner. The picture quality is incredible, and the area that the camera scopes is very impressive. So happy with this purchase! It really is a great camera for a beginner.

The camera was very easy to set up for my first security camera. We live in a very small town so one was just enough to capture the main point. The night vision is very bad. Just blue lines so we have been keeping a like on at night which is inconvenient. The motion sensing is very useful. There is an app in the App Store and google play store that works very well and is very convenient in turning motion sense on and off. There is no light on the camera which is really good in hiding it and the camera is pretty small. All in all I love it and love the security it brings with.
