“I'm having trouble with this microwave. When I press the push button to open the door I have to completely hard press the button to open the microwave. When I do this the microwave moves. Is there something I can do to stop the microwave from moving?”

We put a rubber mat under the unit, which keeps it from sliding.

If there's nothing behind it, then put something under its legs to keep it from sliding. Try different ideas that come to mind from what you have on hand. Metal jar lids might work. But the idea is to increase the friction between it and the counter or whatever it sits on. You can put something heavy behind it like a brick or big rock. Have fun. An artistic touch might help.
