• One year. It is explained in the User Guide, so maybe phone the Insignia Company or Best Buy will have the phone number and maybe you could read that part of the User Guide online. Best Buy also offers a warranty.

• All the information is in the direction book that comes with the microwave. It has a warranty for one year from Insignia. Best Buy offers warranty plans ,also. It is spelled out in the "User Guide." After you purchase the extra warranty, it will come as an email. I think mine is for 3 years.
