- Answer The DVD-RW in this laptop CAN'T play Blu-Ray. But it will play CD's and of course DVD's You can also burn CD's and DVD's with this laptop. But sorry you can't do nothing with Blu-ray with this laptop.

- Answer I bought it with 4gb. Just added 8 gb. Could remove the 4gb and add another 8 gb card totaling 16gb. I believe there are other ram with higher amounts of gb.
