You said the first 7752 failed. Did it ever work at some point? 1st question is, was the first remote under a warranty? If the first remote worked at some point, then you do have a compatible remote that will or should work. The question you had, can BB pair the new remote, I imagine BB can pair the néw one. The question is, do you want BB to pair the new remote, Only you can answer that question whether you are confident BB is capable of performing the pairing of your new remote. I’d say to get a warranty if you choose to have BB do the pairing.
