• No I used progressive leasing and was still able to get Geek Squad protection.

• Yes, it’s a services the Best Buy provide to the customers and you have to purchase the warranty. I usually purchase the two years on the items just in case the electronic items.

• You can't purchase the geek squad warranty except for at best buy and they're not gonna warranty anything they don't sell, the warranty company they use is called aig warranty guard, I'm sure they insure for more businesses than best buy alone but they don't make that information public and even if they did I doubt you could use them between businesses
