Thanks for your question! At this time, the Geek Squad Product Replacement plans start at time of purchase and, as such, run concurrent with the manufacturer's warranty in this case. The Geek Squad Product Replacement plan often does cover more than what the general manufacturer's warranty covers. The full terms and conditions for our plans can be reviewed any time at www.geeksquad.com/termsconditions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Like they said it's at time of purchase but I work the truck's and know at minimum 75-80% of the trailers for my store show up looking like a cement truck delivered it with the back of it rotating the entire drive lol. So always get at least the shortest protection plan in my opinion. But the main reason I think you should is cuz its way better than any manufactures warranty out there. Different plans depending on product. For computers as an example I think Its called "accidental" protection plan and that one you could basically fill the desktop full of water with a garden hose and we won't even bat an eye replacing it for you Haha. The downside is it doesn't cover software type of stuff like data recovery and such. To summarize though even if the plans were only 6 months covered they would still be worth getting than sticking with just the manufactures warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The manufacture warranty and Geek Squad warranty are completely different. If you broke the item you could either chose manufacture or geek squad.
