“Does the 4 year protection start when the manufacturers warranty ends? If it starts at time of purchase, is it possible to get the expiration date changed to when you actually take delivery of it and not at time of purchase?”

It actually starts when you purchased the item I know its funny but that's how mines is...based on to know the date will be on your account in purchased it show the date of when it should expired.

Please try again later.No with geeks squad warranty's it starts the same time but usually the 1 year afterwards time parts and labor as they bill manufacture for parts and labor not you why under Geeks Squad warranty here. Now changing the start time of warranty here, YES once you pick up the idem at store or receive idem through the shipping method will reflect the warranty start date to begin here.
