• The volume buttons are located on the side/edge of the remote. You do not see the volume controls when the remote is facing you, turn the remote on its side to see volume controls.

• the remote controls the volume. and if you notice the tv is not getting loud enough when you increase the volume, go to settings>audio>menu volumes and select "high". mine was on medium and that is why I could not get it to go any louder.
