• The red power button should only blink when the TV is first powering on and off. After 3 or 4 seconds, the red blinking should turn into a solid blue.

• Wells,No it, Red light, only blinks if the settings for standby is enabled. Look in the settings menu and you can correct this. Happy TV watching
