• It is ready to go out of the box after you attach the legs or mount to wall. You can attach other items such as X Box, or a cable tv box, but you can use it without these if you have a WiFi network to use.

• The TV is ready to go out of the box. I don't know about Roku, but I don't think it requires a box.
