I have DirectTv, can I hook up the tv and use like normal or does it only connect through wifi? null

I have dish network. It works the same as any tv. You can switch between inputs like satellite, dvd, etc.

It hooks up normally through your HDMI ports. The wifi comes in with the ROKU capability. You will have to connect to your home network to get Netflix and the rest of the ROKU lineup. 
When you turn on the TV you will be presented with several viewing options. One has to click on Satelite when you turn the TV on, to ensure you are watching Direct TV programming. 
Works great...love the TV, much bigger picture than the 28" TV it replaces.
