The Bluetooth allows you to play music from your phone, tablet or iPad through this home theater system. It can play cds, dvds, BluRay, along with the Bluetooth ability that allows you to play your music on your phone. Plus An FM radio. And then if you have a cable or satellite box, you can use RCA cables for audio inputs or use the better optical audio input
