I Bought it at a great price, has a great sound, "Please Don't Forget It Is Not Wireless You Will Have To Hook Your Router Up To It To Make It Smart" Otherwise Worth It, just make sure you do all your research and read all the reviews

The set up for this was easy. Wish the length of the cords for the rear L/R speakers were just a couple feet longer but they still reach a good distance, about 20 foot, 25 foot would be perfect for my situation. Set up of the software was very simple, the player walked me through everything and it didn't take long. As far as operation, the 3-D aspect was great and sound was awesome.

I was struggling with the choice of getting one of these Home Theater Systems in a Box, or buying everything separate. I have a soundbar that has been more than satisfactory for a couple years, and so I was leaning towards buying everything separate. When looking online, I was thinking "How big of a difference can this thing and it's little speakers even make??" I have a PS4 that plays blurays, so I don't need that. Well I get to best buy and notice this is on sale. I figure, meh, I can always return it if I hate it. Well, after a week of having everything hooked up together, the Soundbar has now moved into the bedroom, and as far as this thing and its "little speakers" go, wow. I was amazed at how great these actually sound. Don't get me wrong. It will not compete with a $1500 system. However, when considering most soundbars are $150+ for a good one, and you do get quality sound out of them, the little bit of money you'll spend on this Samsung unit is more than worth it! If you are pretty tech savvy, you will enjoy the customization options. I would recommend for everyone to download the firmware/software update immediately. Then you can take the time to set the distance of every speaker, as well as adjust volume out of each speaker. You can get a free Db Sound Meter App on any smart phone, select speaker test from the Samsung menu, and fine tune every speaker so that you have complete, even sound coming from every angle. The only issues I have is that it has bluetooth and will play music and videos from your phone, but you can not use bluetooth headphones. Also, I have a high pitch feedback sound that comes through the speakers whenever I have it set on Digital In (from my PS4). It is likely that it is caused by the cable itself or just some interference. It goes away whenever sound is being played though. I listen to music loud, watch a ton of action movies, play a variety of games, and this system sounds great with everything! I am a very picky person when it comes to sound quality, yet every day whenever I'm watching, or listening, to something new, I find myself smiling at the great surround sound positioning as well as the detail. All out of these tiny speakers, too! Amazing! Oh, as to the "Why 4 stars and not 5?" For one, it could really use an extra input, as well as extra output. The selection of "apps" is slim/non existent outside of the standard netflix, vudu, hulu, amazon, ect.. And last, but not least.. even though I listen to everything extremely loud and I don't find myself maxing this out often.. At the end of the day, it is a $250 Samsung, and not a premium Klipsch, Sony, or Cerwin Vega.. So lets be realistic.

I have 50" plasma, this system works great with the Anynet feature. Full surround sound in TV mode. DVDs that have DTS work great. Bluray is great. However, the streaming channels do not have full surround sound. My TV cable box does streaming and I get full surround sound thru this system. This works great for me. You can tailor which speakers to get more or less sound and different sound modes as well. The bass works great.

It's a pretty good sound system. Very easy to set-up. Small in size. Doesn't take up a lot of room/space. The speaker cables are a little short to reach the back of my living room, so I set them up on the wall around the TV. I pretty much get the same sound effects. I like it. It works for me.

I love my surround sound. The sound quality is great, and it is very easy to use. Just one downfall. I have the fiber optic cable connected to my TV at all times. But I cannot leave the HDMI cord plugged in because then it will not play any sound when I want to just watch my satellite. Whenever I want to watch a DVD I have to plug the HDMI cable back into the TV, then remember to unplug it whenever I want to watch regular tv again. Somewhat of a pain, but I'm used to it now. I had geek squad come out and look at it. They have no idea why it does it, but they also didn't offer to replace it. So I'm not sure if this is common, or just not that big of a deal. That's the only reason I'm not giving this product 5 stars.

I bought this home theater because i wasted to have an enhanced TV sound. and it does solve my purpose. It give me great sound considering that I live in apartments and can't play it on high volume.
It looks nice, comes with a blu ray player, Integrates with Samsung TV seamlessly, great output with good quality.
I am happy and recommend this if you are looking for enhanced TV experience.

I was a little skeptical about this because it does say 3D and i do not have a 3D tv , but also because i have an older tv. When i went into Best Buy they did let me know it was compatible but i was still a little uneasy. But i bought it anyways , and it works great . The wires are just really sensitive and come out easy from the speakers . But for the most part it is very loud and easy to use

The sound quality is well worth the price. 7.1 Souround sound is especially spectacular when playing action games or watching horror movies (my room mate and I almost fell out of our chairs watching Annabelle). The system gets downgraded for their not so simple setup. They don't specify which wire goes into which port on the speakers. Fortunately I had a set of speakers like this before and figured it out. the wires don't even have a plus or minus symbol on them.

Not WiFi Capable - Wired Rear Speakers

This was my bad ordering this. I normally thoroughly review things, especially electronics, before I buy, but that day I was comparing against a deal of the day on a sound bar and paying extra to get rear speakers for it or getting a complete system, so I was hurrying to order. I should have checked for the rear speakers to be wireless, as that is one of the most important features to me, but it didn’t even occur to me that anything in 2018 would not be WiFi capable. I realized when setting it up the rears were wired, but I thought, ok, I guess I can live with that. I got everything put together and turned it on for initial setup and discovered no WiFi and it was purchased for a different room than the modem is in, so no way to use the streaming apps or get system updates. I know there are devices I could have added to get it connected to the network, but since I was already disappointed with the rears, I decided to return it. It did sound really good though, if you’re purchasing for the room your modem is in and aren’t concerned about wires, it’s a great system for the price. Again, my bad for not checking before ordering.

I love the sound this unit delivers, however I was disappointed with the Bluetooth information provided in the sale flyer and on the box. I incorrectly assumed the speakers were Bluetooth compatible and did not need hard wiring. I still like the unit and it's ease of operation.

using it in the bedroom after old DVD decided not to give back a DVD. Not too big, and the sound is good (sometimes the sudden loud noises scare the dog). The picture on regular DVD is better and Blu ray looks great. All of the other features, (Netflix, Hulu, you tube, etc) work great and are easy to access. It plays my iPod via bluetooth, how great is that?

My only experience with this system is buying it, hooking it up (easy enough), and getting rocked out of the house by my girlfriend. It is very loud for such small speakers. She uses it to watch Netflix and Youtube on her tv. Sounds pretty good even downstairs. I bought it open box for cheap. Great bang for the buck.

I wanted a nice home theater but didn't want to spend a lot of money so I ordered this open box Samsung. It said it was in excellent condition, when it arrived it was just that. I like it so much, that I also bought one for my son. It has great, sound, lots of features and was a super easy set up. This was just what I was looking for!

I love the design of the box and speakers. The sound is clear and bass fairly strong. I have not turned it up to full but even using 3 of the speakers its loud enough to fill a living area.
The bundled apps are a great addition but can be a little slow to load compared to the roku 2 we usually use.
The only downside to the whole package is that it requires a wired ethernet connection to use online features. I am going to set up a wireless bridge with a couple of routers as the tv isn't near my internet socket

Today,so many of us have WiFi everything and sometimes things slow down, buffer or plain refuse to work.I opted for this item and ran an Ethernet cable to it.It performs flawlessly on all apps,NEVER buffers on a movie and delivers great picture and sound.Remember all those non tech types, you can only run so many WiFi items before you have problems. So my smart TVs home theatre and the like all run on Ethernet via a TP link unmanaged switch that delivers equal speed to all connections so everyone in the house can do what they want without issue and without me having to listen to gripes.Only WiFi in my home are two tablets everything else including this system is wired. This delivers a great picture and awesome sound.ALL speakers are wired and I have no problems at all. Just remember IF you have a WiFi version and your WiFi drops during an update be ready to spend awhile fixing it.This unit really was worth the money.I use a lot of Samsung and Sony products exclusively.

It works very well for the basic needs of a sound system. It doesn't have the bells and whistles if that is what you're looking for. We bought this for my husband's grandparents who have a flatscreen TV that projects into their kitchen and at their age their hard of hearing and we were able to run it so there are speakers at both of their recliners.
