yes if it was " done by a fall or accident " but get it in there before the day of expiration . They will take it for up to 14 or more days so you must be vigilant and keep on them about the status . They first send it out as geek squad is basically worthless and try to have the factory ,Dell or a subsidiary co. try to fix it /replace it making you then have a refurbished laptop . they use new and used parts , as some laptops are outdated and they have no choice to get a used screen or other part . But make sure when you get it back you power it on in the store and check the hinges , do at least 3 shut downs and start ups with closing and opening the screen to make sure it always turns on again the pains of a refurbished laptop. But if it is all good then your3 yr plan paid off . Especially if it is a 4k like mine or even 1080 Hope this helps .
