Yes; it should be covered under the accidental damage in the policy, unless they can determine is was due to lack of care, abuse(damaged on purpose), or water/moisture damage..

I don't know. You have to call the number for Best Buy Geek Squad, and they will look up your account, your product, and your coverage. They should tell you on the phone, whether you still have the coverage, and if so, you probably will have to bring the product into the nearest Best Buy Store.
