“Can I connect analog audio output (RCA Jacks I assume?) To my vintage Kenwood receiver? If yes will the sound mute and be adjustable with remote? Optical digital audio out connects ok with adapter but I can't mute or adjust volume with TV remote.”

You can connect a receiver through the Analog Audio Output. To turn the TV speakers off you would need to go into the TV audio menu and turn them off. You will still be able to adjust the volume with the TV remote.
