Depending on the type of television you currently have, it is possible to use a feature called Audio Return Channel (ARC) which is done through the HDMI port if your television supports this feature and as a secondary option it is possible to connect the audio out from your television into the audio in port of the Home Theater System either by using an analog connection or Optical cord depending on the available options of your television.
