“Does this TV have manual controls on the side or bottom?”

• It has a power on/off button on the bottom left corner, but other than that you have to use the remote.

• I wish I would've asked the same question before purchasing for my mother, who has Alzheimer's, and looses the remote several times a day. ... To answer your question, NO manual controls on the tv. You must have the remote to control all functions, cant even turn it on/off without remote
