• No matter how much you tinker with the settings and turn off every possible 'feature,' the pic on this set is always blurry and jerky. It is unforgivably bad.

• Hi, this 50" television will surely work for your cable box programming and it will give you a stunning and clear image; our recommendation is that you connect your cable box using an HDMI cord to optimize the picture clarity. • Turn off all of the processing features on the TV in the advanced menu and it will significantly reduce the choppiness. A must-do for gaming and watching action.

• I noticed choppiness when watching basic TV, so I would expect there to be some if you get this TV
