I just asked the same question a bit ago, not able to search questions already asked and after scrolling page after page after page... but, I'm wondering if the answer "yes" to it being cable-ready is correct because we just received the same exact $299 TV (noticed its on sale for $230 now too) as a warranty replacement for the original but defective Summit 50" that cost well over $1300 and looking at the specs on the Best Buy page and on the original manufacturer box (we haven't opened it yet because we may bring it in with the receipt and swap it out for an upgrade), it says nothing about having a cable input.... only HDMI and USB in the complete specs list, which are obviously not cable connections. How do I verify that it does in fact, have a cable input without opening the box? Perhaps someone has a photo showing the coaxial input? I don't like not trusting the "yes," but its difficult to believe when there is zero specification about it on the manufacturer site, Best Buy site, other sites that sell it such as Walmart as one example, and the box itself say nothing about the cable input... I feel better asking for some evidence before opening the box. Thanks!! :)
