Yes have your local cable/satellite provider install their service first. All they need is a working TV to make sure you're getting a signal. Then have best buy do the TV mounting/installation.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you already have a TV set or computer monitor with HDMI you can test with, you'd be fine with getting Xfinity pre-installed. But if you do not, then wait until after TV installation. Also, get yourself a nice antenna you can hide behind your TV so for those moments cable goes out and you need local TV, you can still watch local TV.

Then add the Xfinity box whenever. The point is to run all cables you will need ahead of time save the hassle doing it after the fact.
