A:AnswerEvery electron wheel ships with the necessary charger and cables included. The 36V battery system that powers your ride is pre-installed inside the wheel and can be re-charged via a charger port on the outside cover of the wheel. Thanks for the question, don't hesitate to reach out if any other questions we can answer!
A:AnswerHey @Jaylonghaul, at the the moment the system only support rim brakes. We're working on disc brake compatibility and should launch this feature in early 2018. Thanks!
A:AnswerHey @Jaylonghaul, the wheel is all weather rated and will work in light rain/snow. However, we don't recommend riding through any standing water above 20cm. Thanks!
A:AnswerThe electric motor may provide too much torque for the carbon fiber fork and it is not recommended to use the electron wheel with a carbon fiber fork.
A:AnswerProbably not but in my experience the motor held the bike back as if it was applying a regenerative brake. Support says there's no regen but it surely feels like it.
A:AnswerScooter already has a brake recovery system, you can play with the strength of the brake recovery in the settings. Only catch is you can't turn it off
A:AnswerHey @Bing, the wheel will propel you up to 20mph up to a max weight of 265lbs. Also, we have two sizes of Electron Wheel which will work on 700c or 26" size frames. The 700c wheel ships with a 700x32c tire, and the 26" ships with a 26" x 1.25" tire. Electron Wheel's tires are interchangeable, so you can replace with a tire that matches your rear tread. More info on tire sizing can be found at: https://support.electronwheel.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001403394-What-are-the-electron-wheel-tire-rim-dimensions-.
Lastly, no extra hardware needed to mount the Electron Wheel. The wheel contains the motor, battery, and smart sensors all inside. The only accessory to mount on the bike is a wireless pedal sensor which attaches with velcro on your pedal crank.
Please let us know if any other questions we can answer. Thanks!
