“When watching tv, the speakers will cut in and out randomly. I've checked the wires to make sure nothing is loose. Still didn't fix the problem. This is a brand new system. Help please!”

I'm not sure why your speakers are cutting in and out, but I was having issues getting the sound correctly. What I noticed was when I initially set my Yamaha system up I was getting error codes because I didn't have the set up microphone at the right height and distance as my ears would be from the system. Once i corrected the mic, my system showed no error codes, everything was perfect and I am enjoying this great system. My advice to you would be, set up system exactly where the speakers will stay, connect everything as recommended, then plug in mic , put in middle of room and test for sound correctness. Continue testing after each Mic height and distance correction, this should solve any issues regarding setup. Also, the broadcasting stations play commercials and shows at different volume levels, they also play music and voices at different levels. Experiment with the mic at different heights, you should be seeing each and every speaker and bass on the testing list at end of testing the system. Good luck. PS make sure bass is not resting on carpeting and volune level is at half level.. I e it sbould be at 5 of 10 volume level at testing.
