• Yes. The triggers are not pressure sensitive so that rules out some racing games but it's great for adventure games, most shooters and more.

• Yes, it registers itself as an xinput device, the only down side to this controller is the AB and XY buttons are labeled with the Nintendo orientation, but function by default on Xbox button scheme. So is A is labeled B, X is labeled Y and visa versa. It has rumble, turbo functions and is overall pretty great for emulation but I feel like it would have been better to leave the buttons without labels, as they’re a little useless.
