How long can you hold ice? Is ice stored indefinitely or only for a short period of time? null

It is stored in the freezer compartment of the machine, and if it does melt it melts back into the water reservoir to be used again. A pretty neat concept. We have only had it hold ice for about 8 hrs, and shut it down at the end of our parties, and it still kept the ice frozen up until at least then.

The machine is not designed to keep the ice stored. It’s only for a short period, it must be transferred to the freezer after it’s made.
