“How long can you hold ice? Is ice stored indefinitely or only for a short period of time?”

• It is stored in the freezer compartment of the machine, and if it does melt it melts back into the water reservoir to be used again. A pretty neat concept. We have only had it hold ice for about 8 hrs, and shut it down at the end of our parties, and it still kept the ice frozen up until at least then.

• The machine is not designed to keep the ice stored. It’s only for a short period, it must be transferred to the freezer after it’s made.
