QuestionI need to buy and replace my Onkyo AV receiver which is connected to Sonos. Will Best Buy swap out my old receiver and how much to install?

- Answer Yes they will. They just replaced our old Onkyo receiver with a Denon. Works great! We asked a lot questions at Best Buy when deciding on which receiver to buy . They were very knowledgeable and we made the best decision for us. We paid around $1000 which included the extended warranty, the receiver and Geek Squad’s installation. It was well worth the price we paid.

QuestionWe replaced our old tv with with a Q60A Samsung QLED and are having difficulties connecting it to the Avantree wireless headphones and the Sony STRDH550 receiver with optical cables. The problem is a slight voice delay on the headphones.

- Answer there is a setting that can be changed. Geek squad can help with that. I am not on the geek squad, but they showed me how to do that, I just forget where it was.

QuestionI bought a Yamana v685 for use as home theater system. I need to have it set,I have 6 speakers hook up now but would like to have some bluethooth speakers too. I need to have all aspects of the unit set up. Can this be done??

- Answer The Yamana v685 will receive Bluetooth from devices like a cell phone or a tablet. The Yamana v685 will NOT transmit Bluetooth signals out to speakers or other amplifiers. The Yamana v685 will connect via wifi to Yahama MusicCast Speakers that may be placed at various points around the house.

QuestionI have an LG tv bought last year. My receiver is 4 1/2 yrs old. All of a sudden we have no audio. The receiver says "check speaker wire". We have surround sound. I don't know where to check for the speaker wire. Could you have someone come to check?

- Answer Yes. They connected mine and even did troubleshooting on one speaker that wasn't working (my hardwood floor installers had cut my speaker wire). There is a fee which varies depending upon whether you are a total tech member or not. I highly recommend the total tech membership. It is worth the yearly fee for so many reasons with discounted services only being one.
