A:AnswerYour Denon receiver comes with a setup microphone. Denon uses what is called Audyssey where I believe you have up to 6 areas you place the microphone in order for the receiver to adjust the amount of signal needed for each speaker based on location. then it averages the settings so you can get acceptable sound quality at all seating areas.
