Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, it does not. Most of the expensive Lap Top no longer have DVD capabilities. There is hardly a need anymore and a waste of space to put them in. If you still have DVDs I would suggest that you convert them to digital. Or stream from the Internet. This Chromebook is outstanding and worth every penny. With a great touch screen, you can even run Android apps. Really nice. You can buy cheaper Chromebooks but they are kind of plasticky and for the price of this one it is the way to go. Remember floppy disks? Soon people will be saying: "Remember DVDs and CDs"? It's a new world, my friend. Don't waste your money on any laptop with a DVD slot. Hope this helps.
