“Where are the controls? Ok. I'm thinking What Is Going On? Where one usually finds the controls, next to the on/off button on the bottom right, there is only a clear strip of plastic. I checked the manual and it refers to the adjustment controls but never points to them on a picture. Could it be they scimped to lower the cost? I even Chatted with Acer only to get led in a circle.”

The controls are on the bottom of the montior, just to the left of the lighted power switch, you have to feel for them. Once you press one of the buttons, a legend will pop up directly above the button cluster on screen. The button immediately to the left of the power switch is the input button, if you happen to have cable running to your monitor as well such as i.

Pressing any of those buttons will bring an on-screen display of settings. From there, just follow what you need by pressing the indicated (up/down) button.

They barely protrude, you have to feel for them. First button from on/off switch is the input, then volume but it's disabled because there isn't sound on this model, then menu button, then auto button, and finally an e button for empowering technology. You will feel a slight bump, push up on it to get started. There are three more buttons just to the left of that one.
