The wide screen gives you more horizontal viewing, which is a blessing for people like me who work in Excel documents that have many many columns. It alleviates the need for scrolling and scrolling through numerous columns. Does it fill the screen on the internet...yes, it does. Yes, you can control the aspect ratio, and also, don't forget that you can adjust the zoom ratio as well, so you can make it look however you want. As far as using with your laptop with a 1366 x 768 display, you will love it. Remember you can set those properties in your graphics options. I set mine up for "Extended Desktop" and set this monitor to be primary and the laptop's monitor to be secondary. That allows me to take full advantage of the clarity that 1920 x 1080 provides. I'm loving it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've hooked to laptop. Still clear and sharp. You can put windows side by side. I use it for work. Excellent with multiple windows
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it does fill the screen we can put spread sheets etc. side by side
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your computer typically adapts to the resolution of the monitor it outputs to so if you hook this up, the resolution will change to this monitors resolution. If you attempt to display at your current resolution, it will probably look awful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will be able to display 50% more vertical and horizontal compared to your laptop screen. If you use it to display the same (clone) resolution as the laptop screen, then it won't look clear and sharp because you will then be running it in non-native (1920x1080) resolution. If you are using it as an extension or as the only display (most 1366x768 laptops should be able to drive 1920x1080), then it will look clear and sharp. Enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using it with a desk top computer and it is very clear. There are many settings so one can adjust as needed. It is a much larger screen than I had and is much easier for me to see things especially when reading print.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe so, yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can always change the ratio settings on your laptop, but I would recommend getting a monitor that has a same or similar aspect ratio. All the ratio is going to do is stretch the picture.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The native resolution for this monitor is 1920x1080. If you are using it to extend the desktop it will work fine, if you choose to use it as the primary monitor only it will look nice as well.
