Burst Frequency provides on-demand, higher performance for very short intervals, meaning that the processor automatically will burst its Base Frequency (1.10 GHz) up to reach the Burst Frequency (2.80 GHz) to maintain a smooth performance on demanding software (high load). - Answer Unlike a Windows laptop, Chromebooks do not need antivirus protection because you cannot download or run .exe files on these devices. With that said, you should still be aware of malware, spyware or phishing attacks.
