• This does NOT have a fingerprint scanner, at it is most definitely the 2021 model (cp713-3w) check out my photos. User "Mike" obviously didn't buy one to verify.

• I just bought this and the version here at Best Buy did NOT come with a fingerprint scanner. I'll be returning it and trying to figure it how to get the scanner

• Yes, if you look at the pictures it is predominantly placed under the right arrow key. Aliso, the Intel Evo branding requires a fingerprint scanner or other biometric security.

• Then you purchased the 2020 model, the 2021 model most certainly has a fingerprint scanner.
