Yes, C port is absent from the right side. I concur in dismay. All other prior makes and models with the same flaw have been criticized widely making it difficult to understand why it was done.

Please try again later.The reason both are on the same side is because they are 40 gbps ports, and this is very expensive (relatively speaking) to have long traces in the PCB and keep it fully functional and the proper speed. They have both on the same side because it is far cheaper to have the chipset for those ports right next to them and the PCB traces only an inch long to the exterior ports.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On the 2021 model of the Spin 713 they moved both USB-C ports to the left side. The 2020 models have one on each side. The reason they moved both on to the left side was because of the Thunderbolt 4 technology. They needed to have them next to eachother for the internals, or something along those lines. Chrome Unboxed received a statement from Acer about it because people were confused and it seemed like a backwards move.
