• Yes we used this to run a projector, but connected inline from my satellite box running our flat screen. There is a slight delay between the two screens. Is a "little" quirky during setup. Usually have to just unplug and plug back in for them to sync, but then works. ours was 1 room away and it worked, but some experience interference if they are too far. One time we dropped the signal, but it came right back.

• The system should work fine with Xfinity. The signal may be degraded though, depending on the external construction of your home and placement of the transmitters.
