No, the show on the transmitter source (cable or satellite box) is sent to the receiver. The receiver is just running off the one box so whatever is selected will play on both TVs.

You can if you are watching 2 different video sources. For instance you can watch cable TV in one room and something from Firestick or Roku in the other room. You can't watch two different cable programs or two different Firestick programs.
