The device is designed to capture the feed from your primary tv cable box or other input device and send the signal wirelessly to another TV to allow viewing of the same output to two different TVs simultaneously. There are no splitters needed as the primary wireless controller box has a passthru connection allowing the main feed to passthru to the main TV. The box comes with all the items you'll need to use/setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my situation, the transmitter acts as the splitter. I have an HDMI cable running from the cable box OUT to the transmitter IN. Then, an HDMI from the transmitter OUT to a nearby TV. The signal from the transmitter is sent 3 rooms away to the receiver, with an HDMI from the receiver OUT to the TV.
