Yes I used it on my xfinity X1. It performed very well, however, when I turned off my TV and turned it back on, I got video but no audio. I had to reboot the Actiontec device (on the TV side) in order to get audio back. This MAY have had to do with my TV (it's an older model, but does have HDMI), but the same TV works with another HDMI-over-cat5 device perfectly...So I'm not so sure it's my TV that was the problem. But aside from MY problem, I can tell you overall the device works very well with X1. The really great thing I love about Best Buy is that it is very easy to return things that don't work well, so I'd say give it a go, and if it doesn't work well for you, then just return it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I upgraded my xfinity HD cable box to X1 DVR service. My old wireless HDMI that worked with the old box did not work with the upgrade. Based on the other answer to this question, I tried this unit. It worked like a charm. My xfinity service and TV is 4K compatible, but 4K from xfinity does not appear to work through this unit, but that is not a problem for us. Have not had a problem with the wireless HDMI turning itself of when we turn the TV off. It has stayed on just fine. This unit and X1 works for us.
