• When set up with the IR Blaster cable and IR Receiver extension cable connected, you use the Remote from the TV or Cablebox/Sat Box you attached the Transmitting unit to.

• I’m able to change it with no issues with my Dish remote just like I do with the tv. I don’t use the tv remote.
