You may get lucky, but don’t count on it going through floors. Frankly, it all depends on the materials used between floors and how much they denigrate the signal. As long as you can return it, I would say give it a shot. There are other brands out there that will work well, but be prepared for serious sticker shock as they get very expensive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As in any tyoe of wireless or Bluetooth device(s), as long as you can get a signal, then yes it does work. I work in construction so when it comes to different areas, steel, metal can either help you or hurt you. Sme as in a home. Sometimes these items acts as a block for a signal and sometimes it gives it a signal. My advice is to get it and try it. If your signal is strong then you are good. If not and you cannot get a signal you can always return it in the full packaging.. I brought mine after a wireless wifi usb wasn't doing the trick. With the usb I had to download software, register it, and then still needed to buy another device. With this device I can watch my cable on a projector screen for the big game without having to run wires. NOTE: I still need my cable box for the signal but I don't have wires hanging, and I can control the channels. Hope this helped.
