• Yes, will last you a lifetime until you want to upgrade. I am still using my 2015 version until I got this.

• It appears to be a 1 and done like previous editions. It will require an upgrade/update if you want newer features after the next edition comes out. Also, Adobe has a limited support life for products in Legacy so keep this in mind.
