• It's a disk, so there is no downloading at all. There is nothing else to pay for. If you are asking can a single user install on both a desktop and a laptop, yes you can. It is only activated and liscenced to one user and only intended to run on one machine at a time of that single user.

• Yes, there will be a "Redemption Code" that they will have to enter to download the program and they will get a serial number at that time.
