I just tried to get my car stereo installed purchased from Amazon. I called Best Buy and they told me it was not a problem and they will instal no matter where I purchased from and when I tried making an appointment, they told me it HAD to be purchased from Best Buy….

Yes it is for installation of the radio from another company. You already install a previous radio in my car. But with a cracked screen that I was supposed to order another radio that has slightly different power wiring. The first photo with a pink and red wire showing with a previous installment. The second photo was from the new radio wiring

Most bestbuy locations should have install bays right on site. you can set up appointments online or give your store a quick call. They should be able to get you in pretty quick.
