Best Buy… I can’t say enough about last weeks install day for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Let’s go back…. I had bought the Jeep with a decent system, a Sony receiver, which I kept and had another company put new wiring and marine grade speakers throughout. I keep the top down and a few weeks ago, the rains got the receiver wet and it was non functioning. My genius self thought there was something I could do and just made matters worse. Father’s Day came and I found an open box Sony receiver, bought it and had it shipped to me. I didn’t want to touch it after messing with the rain soaked receiver, so I made an appointment. It was for Tuesday at 12:00. Tuesday came and I had an early doctors appointment the day before. What I had been nursing for months in my pelvic area was given an X-ray , then Ultra Sound the week earlier and results were in. I thought a deep pull or strain. Not quite… it’s Cancer…. Testicular, Pelvic Lymphnome Cancer, a chance at Lung Cancer and there are places in my mouth…tongue and gum cancer. A true shock to all in my circle and my family. Life is changing at a rapid pace for me today, but the Tuesday of the install, I dropped the Jeep off, only to get a call from the the guys doing the work. They needed a wiring harness for the amp to connect right to the speakers, the didn’t seem to have it. I love my music, and if you are like me, bad news seems to push aside when that song is in my ear and taking me along the road, but now it was bad news, no music and family coming in to support. I went back and the guys found the wiring harnes and they needed a little more time. I stated my new found news and it seemed to drive the guys to get the long job done that day. As the job continued, the receiver wasn’t working correct. Rob, the install manager (I believe that’s his name) went to management, explained the situation and the Best Buy manager gave me a brand new receiver in exchange for the faulty one which has been installed. All in all… I don’t know what the future holds for me, but while I’m making my way down the road to appointment after appointment, I’ve got tunes, really loud tunes and the day I hand my daughter this Jeep… she will be able to drive… music on High, smiling thinking about her father. I purchased an aftermarket bluetooth/wi-fi connected radio for me 2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited. My initial appointment was made in-store with Geek Squad who was helpful in explaining the process so I'd know what to expect. Day of initial appointment Kevin verified the radio would fit my vehicle and walked through the process and costs with me and we made an appointment for 2 days out. Install was pretty quick, Kevin was able to use the current backup camera saving me an additional $200 charge! I definitely appreciated that. Sine the radio didn’t come with a mic, he went ahead & got that installed for me so i could talk during phone calls. I am very happy with the whole process and the install job! Both techs were extremely professional and knowledgeable & I absolutely recommend this service to others.

The installation went smoothly, mostly because the installer was so experienced. He made sure we had ordered all the necessary components for the installation. I highly recommend talking to the installer before ordering the radio and installation equipment.

Finished within time promised. I suggest you NEVER order installation ONLINE！ NEVER！ What you should be doing is to go in in person to the Installation Department and talk to the installation guys and they can explain to you what you need to order and what you wanted to be installed. THEN they can order all the parts base on what you want in front of you. Taking any misunderstanding out of the process. Those guys are very knowledgable. Basically saying they know their stuffs. I did order my audio and installation online and missed 5 parts for my 2012 Sienna. The website doesn't say what parts are needed for whatever function. Couple controll modules and regulators needed for backup camera and steering wheel control were needed and the web says nothing. Eventually got to reschedule for 2 weeks after since they usually don't have all the parts in stock. Once all the parts are in, the audio and rear camera works perfect and looks amazing.

They knew exactly what I needed to get for my vehicle (not a standard installation) and made it look great in a record amount of time. Quick in and out and everything works great. Appreciate their knowledge.

I purchased this while on sale, but regardless the price is hard to beat. Frank at the Goleta location did a great job setting up my new head unit, and has been amazing with helping out with some small issues I ran into afterwards. Recommend!

I saved up and bought most of my gear off the internet and from friends. I took all my stuff to local stereo shops near me and they wanted more than what the gear cost to install it. Feeling defeated I thought I would do it myself like back in the day. I started watching Youtube videos getting an idea of the job ahead and opened the Metra dash kit to get the instructions. I saw all those wires and adapter boxes and instantly knew, this was too much for me. A friend suggested I try BestBuy. I drove more than an hour to get to the nearest store. It was well worth the drive. Installer looked at my gear. Then came up with a plan to install what, when and scheduled an appointment. The best part, with Total Protection Plan membership, I saved on all the labor. A week later I came back. Installed the radio and subwoofer with an amp. All my factory buttons still work. Nice clean and professional install. Much better than the electrical tape disaster I was about to do lol. Next week I go back to install the door speakers and another amp. I can't wait. Thanks, BestBuy! I'd like to thank the installer for working past closing time due to me being an out of town customer.

Best Buy Geek Squad (in particular Sergio from the El Centro branch) installed my stereo head unit and subsequently a Viper alarm system into my 2010 Ford F-250. Sergio applied his expertise to the entire process including recommendation, diagnostic, ordering, and install. He knew exactly what would work for my installation (including harnesses and adapters/converters) to meet my expectations. Sergio was extremely polite, respectful, and customer service oriented including his patience with me as I know very little about the nature of vehicle electronics and he entertained and answered all of my amateur inquiries. Sergio completed the install as scheduled, in a practical time frame, and I was more than satisfied the work Sergio completed as my truck was returned to complete factory condition with the install done correct the first time. I highly recommend having this kind of work performed at Best Buy El Centro as opposed to other local stereo shops as I shopped around prior to the install, and found that the other shops did not carry the higher quality stereo head by Sony, and although the cost was a bit cheaper for the install, with Best Buy you have the peace-of-mind that your install is performed using the highest quality materials (such as wires, tape, etc.) that will last for the lifetime of the vehicle, vs. the most cost-efficient to keep the overhead of the stereo shop low. Best Buy stands by their work and their products, while the other guys won’t offer a guarantee for their work. Thank you Best Buy and especially Sergio V. for a job well done the first time! -ShawnM

The installation process itself was efficient and meticulous. The Geek Squad technician carefully handled my vehicle, ensuring no damage to the interior during the installation. They not only installed the CarPlay system but also took the time to walk me through its features and functionalities, ensuring that I was comfortable with the new technology. One of the highlights of the service was the cleanliness and attention to detail. After the installation, my car was returned in immaculate condition, with no sign of the work done except for the perfectly functioning CarPlay system.

I had my stereo system and backup camera installed at Best Buy, and I’m really impressed with their work! The team was professional, efficient, and everything was installed perfectly. The system works great, and the whole process was faster than I expected. Highly recommend their installation services!

The radio installation tech was helpful with any questions I had with the install. He was super courteous and took the time to show me the features on the stereo I purchased after he put it in. It took a little over an hour and he did an excellent job with the placement of the microphone and USB inputs. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend this for anyone purchasing a new head unit from Best Buy. The only issue I had why I didn’t give 5 stars was that the parking break wire that needed to be hooked up to use the video streaming on my unit was not hooked up nor was the wire for my interior light dimmer to control the illumination on the unit. This might be due to not having the wires to hook up to (parking brake,etc) The service was great regardless and the sound and features are exceptional.

They installed a new receiver for my truck, fully equipped with a reverse camera and many options, plus a Pioneer receiver with a nine-inch screen, Android auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, digital media. It was a very good, high-quality, professional installation. My rating is five stars of five. I highly recommen service. I have been coming to Best Buy for many years. A great quality of service and attention in a few words, the best.

Bobby Townsend and Carlos Gonzalez Espinal installed for us and they did an excellent job. Bobby took as much time as we needed to explain all the functions to us. We have had zero problems and are enjoying the upgrade to our family van.

My 2016 Jeep Patriot was in need of a touch screen radio with satellite capability as I am a SirusXM subscriber. The Kenwood 7in touch screen with back up camera was the extra tech I was looking at making my ride more up to date. The Kenwood deck with SiruusXM receiver and the steering wheel control along with the back up camera were all purchased on a Saturday and by Monday I was able to get in for the install. The professional installer stated this would take about 3 to 4 hours. The complete install only took 3 hours and I was back on the road. The installation looked like it was factory installed as it all was a seamless match and everything worked flawlessly. The installer showed me exactly on how everything would work. Top notch installers at the Menomonee Falls WI location.

The gentleman at the Tikatnu Commons location in Anchorage, AK did a fantastic job with the installation and everything has been running great!

I would highly recommend their services, they hnow exactly what is needed for a excellent sound system in their vehicles, everything i had installed was awesome

Excellent and timely. Especially after two previous horror show of attempts. To make it even better, my install was completed much quicker than previous install. I may upgrade my speakers eventually and I already know where I'll be going. Right back to Best Buy

My truck is a 2009. This is the 4th time I've had the cell, audio, GPS, &/or rear video enhanced by a pro installer. My Geek Squad guy cleaned up all messes left behind & got the new JVC floater working great with the high-end amp, Bluetooth, Sirius receiver, steering wheel controls & speakers. He fit it in making sure I could still reach all HVAC controls and get airflow from the vents. The old camera was balky, so I bought a new one & he ran new cable; now I can drive around town in reverse if I want. Took time to train me & made sure everything was set up & working.

Had to wait a month for the install of my Kenwood head, whichI bought elsewhere. I couldn't get the one I wanted at BB so I went online to find it. I needed accessories for the install, which I bought from BB. I had to get the adapter to fit the hole from my factory double din radio online also. I wanted to be able to use my steering wheel controls so I bought the Maestro ADS-MRR from BB too. Well to cut to the chase, the wait was worth it! The install turned out great and since I had Total Tech Support it was included at no additional charge! Great job BB and Geek Squad.

Amazing service, very professional and couldn't be happier with the results. Replaced my subpar stock unit in a 2018 Subaru Wrx. Everything works just like it should, and I got a full demo of how to setup and change all of my settings for my new pioneer in-dash android tv enabled receiver. The screen looks great, the system sounds great, and wireless android auto is awesome. I got my amp, rear speakers, and sub installed at the same time and I'm looking forward to wrapping it all up with my fronts and components.
