The plant life depends on the type of plant that you're growing, along with proper care. We've had some customers that have had plants that they nurtured for years on end in their Aerogardens. Herbs, generally, last about 4-6 months. AeroGardens do best when kept in an environment with temperatures between 65-75°F, and away from direct sources of heat or cold. Your garden does not need additional light or a sunny window. In fact, too much direct sunlight can overheat your plants and cause them to wilt. The AeroGarden Light provides the full spectrum of light plants need to photosynthesize and grow. We hope this information helps when considering where to place the AeroGarden in your home.
